Rules and Guidelines

Time Frame: The challenge runs once a month for a set number of days.

APRIL CHALLENGE: April 11th - April 28th 2024 Magic Weight = 2.32 LBS NO WINNER

MAY CHALLENGE: May 3rd - May 31st WINNING WEIGHT WILL BE GENERATED 6/2

Eligible Species: Largemouth, Smallmouth, and Spotted Bass are the only eligible species for this challenge.

Registration and Fees:

• Participants must register on the official challenge website. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER or in the ConnectScale app.
• Free Registration

Equipment:

• All bass weights must be recorded using the ConnectScale Bluetooth Fishing Scale and logged to the ConnectScale app.
• The weight recorded by the ConnectScale app is final and automatically uploaded to the Connect Leaderboard and scored to the Tournament Event in Connect Leaderboard. Each catch must include the Tournament Code written and visable in at least one photo for each catch.

Catch Verification:

• Upon catching a bass, participants must take a photo showing the angler, the fish, and the weight displayed on the ConnectScale. This photo must be uploaded via the app for the entry to be valid.
• Photos must clearly show the bass's weight. Blurry or unclear submissions will be disqualified.
• Photos must include the Tournament ID Card with the catch.
• Participants may submit multiple photos for each catch to meet the photo verification requirements

Prizes and Winners:

• MAGIC WEIGHT: Winning number will be determined via nonthly drawings based on a randomly chosen unique weight. If you have a catch whos weight matches exactly to two hundredths of a pound to the randomly selected "Magic Weight" announced at the end of the challenge, you win.
• Additional prize will be mailed to the participant that has the heaviest catch of each month if that participant is a member of the Connect Fishing League.
• Special recognition for participants who catch and release the most bass during the challenge.
